This issue examines the interpretation of a copper-beaten skull appearance in children. A retrospective study investigates the age-related distribution of convolutional markings on cephalometric radiographs in a pediatric orthodontic referral cohort. The contribution considers these findings in the context of cranial development and the limits of interpreting an isolated radiographic appearance as evidence of raised intracranial pressure.
